Empty beer bottles sought as clues in missing girl case

RUSKIN, Florida (CNN) -- Florida police have asked volunteers who are searching for a missing 13-year-old girl to look for empty beer bottles that they say could be connected to a registered sex offender who visited the girl's home.Sarah Michelle Lunde disappeared five days ago from her home in Ruskin, Florida, which is about 10 miles south of Tampa. The girl was last seen wearing a green half-cast on her left forearm.

The authorities said on Saturday that they were "almost positive" they had found the body of a missing 13-year-old girl after recovering a corpse from a pond that appeared to match her description, down to a bright green cast on her left wrist. Link
