Pamela Turner Case Update

Pamela Rogers Turner has until July 27th (next court date) to decide whether to accept a plea deal offered by Warren County District Attorney Dale Potter."After discussions with her attorney, we decided we would make an offer," Potter stated.Pamela Tuner is charge with 15 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and 13 counts of statutory rape. Conviction on all counts could be punished by up to 100 years in prison.
Potter has said previously that it is more likely that a conviction would mean a minimum of a year to several years in prison.Potter declined to reveal details of the plea offer.He did say he consulted with the teenager's family before making the offer and that they agreed with its terms.Turner was arrested in February after investigators said they discovered multiple acts of sexual intercourse between the two from November to January.Turner had worked as a physical education teacher and girls basketball coach at Centertown Elementary School for two years.She was suspended after being charged.If Turner doesn't accept the plea, her case is scheduled to go to trial in November.
