Heat Shut Down Pistons in 113-104 Victory
Miami Heat Shut Down Pistons 113-104
Miami scored 11 points from the foul line during a 13-4 run that put the Heat ahead for good midway through the fourth quarter, and the Pistons lost control of their emotions to such a degree that Rasheed Wallace and Chauncey Billups were hit with technical fouls in the fourth quarter for screaming in disgust at the officials.Pistons coach Larry Brown got in on the act, too, venting his displeasure with sarcastic shouts after he realized the game had slipped away from his team.Wade scored 21 of his 36 points in the first half, getting limited in the final 24 minutes by Lindsey Hunter's defense and some foul trouble of his own.
Wade was able to hit a jumper over Tayshaun Prince with 2:46 left, shortly after checking back in for the final time, to give Miami a 102-93 lead that made the crowd begin scurrying for the exits.
O'Neal finished with 24 points for the Heat, and Eddie Jones had 19. O'Neal made his first six foul shots of the fourth quarter and finished 8-for-12 from the line.

The only reason Heat won was because of Shaq he would push them down with his body and instead of calling a fouls on heat they would call them on detroit. It wasn't just Shaq. If it wasn't for that referee not paying attention Detroit could have won.I think the ref came into the game wanting Miami to win. I'm all for Miami but that just wasn't fair I understand why Detriot got so hot headed.
It's interesting that you mention that point however I have seen throughout this season some horrid officiating. That which was not in the benefit of the Heat, but I will grant you this...if you are reffering to the piston player who took the shot then was bleading from his nose and mouth...I will admit there should have been a call.Overall these have been some oddly "tightly officiated" games...thanx for the input
