Fake plastic surgeon re-arrested as 35 patients come forward in Weston clinic case

Undercover detectives with the Broward Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with investigators from the Florida Department of Health, today rearrested an unlicensed plastic surgeon after 35 new victims came forward claiming he permanently disfigured them, police said.The suspect allegedly performed a series of botched procedures on the women at a Weston cosmetic surgery clinic where his brother, a state licensed plastic surgeon, is listed as the primary physician, officials said. That brother is now also in custody for allowing it all to happen, according to BSO spokeswoman Liz Calzadilla-Fiallo.BSO detectives originally arrested 58-year-old Gregorio Nosovsky, of Parkland, back on April 12th outside of the Advanced Center for Cosmetic Surgery, located at 1865 North Corporate Lakes Boulevard in Weston.He was charged with one count of practicing healthcare without an active state license and was released after posting $1,000 bond.The unlicensed physician now faces several new and more serious charges for practicing healthcare without a state license causing great bodily harm.
