ABC News going ahead with American Idol expose

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Fox TV hit "American Idol" will go under the microscope of a rival network this week as ABC News examines what it calls "explosive claims" about the most watched show on U.S. television.ABC has declined to specify the nature of the "startling" off-camera activities it promises to expose in Wednesday night's special edition of "Primetime Live," titled "Fallen Idol."
