Several Still Trapped in Japan Train Wreck, 59 Dead

TOKYO- Rescue workers toiled through the night trying to extract several people still trapped in the wreckage of a Japanese commuter train as the death toll rose to 59 in the country's worst rail accident in more than 40 years.Investigations into the cause of the accident were focusing on the speed the crowded train was traveling when it jumped the tracks near the western city of Osaka and smashed into an apartment building shortly after rush hour.
