Calgary police stir controversy with road rage campaign

CALGARY - Calgary police are trying to curb road rage with a controversial new method: instead of writing tickets, they're writing letters. In the past citizens called police to report reckless drivers ut officers could not issue tickets since they had no clue who was driving the vehicle in question. Now in response to this they are writing letters to the registered owner in an effort to address the problem.Calgary police say they won't act on anonymous complaints and won't use the letters in future investigations.
