Nick Carter Charged

Nick Carter was arrested for DUI in Huntington Beach, California,after he was stopped for erratic driving and then failed a field sobriety test.The Backstreet Boy was formerly charged Tuesday with one count of driving under the influence and one count of driving with a blood alcohol level over 0.08.Carter, 25, is scheduled to appear in court at an Apr. 13 arraignment.
A statement from the singer's publicist said, "Carter deeply regrets the current situation. He is on doctor-prescribed medication and was unaware of its interaction possibilities."
