No-contest Plea in ChoicePoint Identity Theft

A Nigerian man accused of stealing from data warehouser ChoicePoint Inc. information that could be used in identity theft pleaded no contest and was sentenced to 16 months in state prison.ChoicePoint, Inc., one of the nation's largest collectors of consumer information, has notified over 145,000 Americans of a system security breach and possible identity theft.
