Bangladeshis in fear after bomb wave
"I close down early these days, around 7 in the evening," said shopkeeper Mohammad Ali in Dhaka New Market area. "It surprises my children who have never seen me come home that early," said Ali, 55.
Sunday was the first anniversary of a deadly grenade attack in Dhaka that killed 23 people at an opposition rally. Opposition leaders and workers marked the event by wearing black badges, chanting slogans and attending a wreath-laying ceremony.
Opposition leader Sheikh Hasina escaped the attack unhurt and said at the time Islamic militants were to blame, urging the government to "rein them in immediately".......
