Truck bursts into flames in Alpine tunnel

One body found; some trucks reportedly trapped inside
CHAMBERY, France - A tractor-trailer burst into flames inside an Alpine tunnel linking France and Italy on Saturday, killing at least one person, French and Italian officials said.Traffic through the nearly 8-mile-long roadway was halted as firefighters rushed to the Frejus tunnel after the truck, which was carrying tires, caught fire, the national highway information center said.Italian firefighters found one body inside the tunnel, but "they don't know yet if the body is that of a man or a woman," said Giovanni Prestigiacomo, an official with the highway authority in Susa, a town near the Italian entrance.
