Iran responds to EU trio’s nuclear proposal
TEHRAN (MNA) – Iran responded to the European Union’s latest proposal on Tehran’s nuclear program in a meeting with envoys of Britain, Germany and France here on Thursday.
During the one-hour meeting, Iranian nuclear spokesman Hossein Musavian informed the envoys of Iran’s decision about the European Union proposal.
The EU3 made the proposal in a meeting with Hassan Rowhani, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, in Geneva on May 25, following an official announcement by Iran that it would resume enrichment activities at the Isfahan Uranium Conversion Facility if talks with Europe failed to bear any significant result.
