Police pursuit in western Broward ends in arrest

The chase of a suspected armed robber came to an end shortly after it began on the Sawgrass Expressway, Thursday afternoon.A man driving a white Chevrolet camper was chased by Broward Sheriff's Office and Florida Highway Patrol vehicles in western Broward County, after a reported armed robbery in Pompano Beach, according to reports.The chase ended when the man's vehicle swerved onto the median causing his camper's tires to get stuck in the mud.
