Singer Toby Keith Tracked Down By FBI

LOS ANGELES Even when you know you're squeaky-clean, it's still a bit unnerving to be tracked down by FBI agents.A contingent of FBI agents from the Nashville and Memphis offices tracked down Toby Keith last week, backstage at the 2005 CMT Music Awards.The good news? The purpose of the manhunt was to present Keith with a commendation, honoring the singer for his patriotism and service to the armed forces through his USO trips to Iraq and other overseas outposts. And he'll do it again next month. His appearance at the Academy of Country Music Awards will be via satellite, beamed in from the Middle East.Keith's next album, "Honkytonk University," lands in stores May 17, and his "Honkytonk U" tour kicks off June 10 in Charlotte, N.C.
